Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Here's a review from one who has an NDD (autism) diagnosis - i.e highly sensitive to scents, temperatures and noises. I base my criteria on the following: I want the accommodation to be orderly and tidy, fresh, with no bad odours/strong perfumes/smoking, well-cleaned with a modern standard. The rooms should be quiet, dark, neither too hot/too cold. The bed shouldn't be worn out + a good duvet and pillow. Working WiFi. Calm and safe area. * Location: 15 minutes walk from the train station. Apartment building with the actual apartment facing the courtyard. Nothing fancy. First floor. Area felt calm and safe - some traffic but never heard it from the apartment. * Rooms: Felt modern and newly refurbished. No bad smells/perfumes or smoke inside the apartment. The temperature was a little bit cold, and the radiators took a while to get warm. You can open the windows (I like to sleep with the windows open in the bedroom)(Cold +17C bedroom, warmer in the rest of the rooms is optimal for me). Equipped kitchen. Small fridge with freezer compartment. Washing machine. Stove. Micro, kettle. Hair dryer. Iron. * Bed: satisfactory - neither to soft/hard or worn out. Duvet ok. * Cleanliness: Very good. The bathroom felt super clean. * General: Nothing fancy, but clean and calm with some amenities. WiFi worked well. * Contact with the host online only, but with fast replies.

Negative: * Rooms: The floor felt renovated but in bad quality, chips coming off like made out of plastic. A little scarce on cutlery. Couldn't find a drying rack for our washed clothes. Or an Iron board. Maybee we missed it. The kitchen faucet was a bit loose. Also no curtains, carpets or lamps. Only ceiling lamps (ok one extra lamp in kitchen) with strong white light. Together with black and white interior design the apartment felt quite unfriendly, meagre and gloomy. Your voiced echoed because of the absence of textiles. Interior designers usually recommend up to four light sources in a room to make it feel cosy. Some more textiles like curtains would help the gloomy feeling. * Bed: No feather/down pillows. But I bring my own. I wish you could choose between different duvets for different seasons. Duvets are often super thick and way too warm. This one was on the warmer side, but OK. * Smell: No smell or bad odours in the apartment, but right outside the windows facing the courtyards two men were smoking -once every hour - from early morning to very late. You could open the windows without the stank of smell. Felt trapped. Super sensitive to smoke, so could feel the scent even with the windows closed as they sat in an hammock right towards the window in the hallway. This was actually the worst thing about an otherwise quite good apartment. * General: Would like to recycle our rubbish properly. Not throw everything in the same bin.

Summary: Clean with good amenities, but a bit depressing.
