Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Check-in was a breeze and the front desk attendant was super helpful. She even gave me a short walking tour of the spa area. The rom was pretty much what I expected (clean, functional, tidy, comfortable). The spa area was nice, both inside and outside. Not all saunas seemed to be turned on but the ones in operation were more than enough for guests to enjoy. The girl who tends this area was on top of policing used towels and keeping everything clean. The dinner was nice, although the idea of seperate menus was a bit of a turnoff. I paid a rate which included dinner. It turns out there are two separate menus: one for ala cart and one for rate inclusive. I only found this out since the first menu I was given had to be replaced once the waiter discovered my room number was on the dinner included" list. The options on the regular menu seemed nicer. Although I was pleasantly surprised with my selections from the included menu. See attached photos of an excellent Caesar Salad (probably the best I've had in Hungary in nearly 8 years), delicious Cold Raspberry Soup with carmalized peanut brittle, and grilled short ribs with Kimchi. All dinner options I enjoyed were great, but I would have like to have a fish soup as an option. Check-out was equally efficient.

Negative: The breakfast was the only disappointment of my visit. The quality of most items, other than the scrambled eggs was substandard in my opinion. The cold cuts were poor quality and not visually appealing. There was canned tuna fish instead of smoked salmon, for example. The coffee wasn't very good. I would have enjoyed a better quality meat/sausage instead of low quality hot dogs. The n=lady bussing tables was great though!

Summary: Relaxing option for a day or two.
