Summary: Me and my friend stayed here one night and we were completely blown away by just about everything this place had to offer. The grounds are small and intimate but meticulously taken care of. You feel like you stepped into a different time or even a movie set. We saw two wedding parties here; one when we were checking in and one in the evening but it didn't feel intrusive. Someone met us at the gate for check out (we were a little late :( if you book here you should try to come right at 4pm), she walked us through the grounds and to our room, we received a complementary tea and light snack and we were asked what time we wanted dinner and breakfast and when we wanted to use the private bath facilities. Me and my friend both have tattoos and because it was a private bath it was no problem. The bath facilities included a japanese traditional hot room (dry sauna), toilet, shower, hot bath and counter for face care. The dinner was ten courses and it was incredibly fresh and delicious- very fish heavy though so if you dont like fish you may not like everything. The woman who served us dinner was so friendly and kind! We ended up talking about our cats and sharing photos once we broke through the polite server-customer barrier. The view from our room was overlooking the water and we could hear the water while we relaxed in the room. We never saw any other guests on the premises so we truly felt like we had the place to ourselves. Absolutely incredible experience!! Thank you so much!
