All the kitchen appliances are modern and easy to use and include a dishwasher, kettle, toaster, microwave and a fantastic Nespresso machine, so… What else? There is a large chaise-end-corner sofa that faces a flat screen TV, an armchair and a dining table with two comfy chairs, plus a bench in case you have some friends for dinner! Sit back and make yourself at home, wood flooring completes the welcoming atmosphere of this flat. In the bedroom, get a relaxing night in your comfortable king bed, fitted with fresh, luxury linens. The large window lets plenty of natural light in and it opens on the private balcony. The large wardrobe also has two full-length mirrors, just ideal if you need to make yourself ready for a romantic dinner. The bathroom is bright and has a large bathtub with glass protection - enjoy your soak in it! White fluffy towels and shampoo are provided! My property will be professionally cleaned before your stay. Travel cots and highchairs can be provided upon request. Neighborhood The Southwark neighbourhood is home to many of the city’s iconic landmarks - London’s most famous bridges, buildings, and museums. Cross the Thames via the Tower, Millennium, or London bridges and be rewarded with panoramic views, of history abutting modernity - Southwark boasts Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, the Tate Modern museum, London’s famous Borough market, and many pubs and restaurants. Borough Market truly is a food lover’s heaven. As well as fruit and veg, meat, fish and cheese, there are many stalls offering artisanal foodstuffs from all over the world. Whilst you’re there, take a trip up the famous Shard building for more stunning views of the city. Nearby transport links include London Bridge Underground (Jubilee and Northern lines) and London Bridge Overground stations, as well as a ton of buses that will take you across the entire city. Transit Stockwell is the nearest station to the apartment, just a 4-minute walk away. Here the Victoria Line will connect you to the District Line and Circle Line (at Victoria Station), to the Jubilee Line and the Piccadilly Line ( at Green Park Station) and to the Central Line ( at Oxford Circus Station ), meaning that you can get to almost all the iconic London sites in no time at all! Or you can take the Northern Line which means you will be easily connected to all the lines I said above plus the Bakerloo Line. If you arrive at Gatwick Airport the fastest and with only one-change way is to the Express Train and in less than one hour you can reach your flat! Take the Express train from the Airport and change at Victoria Station. You have almost arrived, take now the Victoria Line and jump off at Stockwell Station! But you have a huge selection of possibilities to reach your flat in the way you prefer the most! For example, you can take the standard train from Gatwick Airport, change at Clapham Junction and then change again to Vauxhall Station. Easier to do than to explain. If you arrive at Heathrow and you want to be at home in less than one hour you can take the Heathrow Express for one stop, change at Paddington Station for the Bakerloo Line and then change again at Oxford Circus for the Victoria Line.
