Summary: Okay, first things first: you get what you pay for. This was a cheap option to stay in Lugano, and the location was amazing. I wouldn’t expect a 5 star resort for the money we paid. However, the room was dirty (think actual stuff and dirt under the bed, a sticky spot on the floor and cobwebs and dirt on the balcony) and was only cleaned a bit better when this was pointed out, the bed terribly uncomfortable and LOUD (if my wife moved a muscle, I was sure to know) and the whole place had a feeling of being abandoned. Felt very understaffed, and even though the two people we did get to see were super friendly and as helpful as they could be, they did feel overwhelmed. We stayed for four nights, didn’t have the breakfast or eat at the restaurant since it simply felt abandoned and empty, and spent as much time as possible outside of the hotel. Best price we could’ve gotten in Lugano, but I don’t it’ll survive much longer if the basic standard doesn’t improve.
