Summary: The only redeeming factors of this stay was that my room was large and I did eat at the pub on my first night and the food was good. Where do I begin. Firstly if you stay in rooms 1-4 then expect to be on the ground floor right next to an incredibly busy road. I was room 3, the main window looked out on to this road so your curtains have to remain shut. However this doesn’t stop the busses and large vehicle notices every couple of minutes. The door to the room is about 6ft from the entrance to the pub, I might as well have tried to sleep at one of the tables at the bar. Pub is open till about 11:30pm so expect constant chat just outside your door. The window to the bathroom opened out to the beer garden where the lovely smell of smoke creeps in now and then. The bed had to be the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on. Truly truly awful. One of my pillows had what seemed to be mould on it. I paid £395 for a four night business trip. This is a ridiculous price for what you get. I can sometimes overlook these things if I was able to get a good nights sleep but with all the above this was impossible. I really wish I could get my money back on this because I feel robbed. Almost £100 a night is criminal. AVOID
